We analyse the data you provide (along with other data sources) and publish this in the Export Statistics Scotland publication.
Detailed information about how we process the data from the survey can be found in the Export Statistics Scotland Methodology Note.
The data is used to monitor the National Indicator on ‘International Exporting’.
Our aim is to develop policies that help Scotland’s exports to grow. This data supports the export growth plan, A Trading Nation, and will allow this analysis to be updated and monitored to inform international trade policy.
Ultimately, this data allows us to identify opportunities to develop policies that support Scottish businesses in exporting goods and services to more markets.
