Capability review details regarding ministerial exit interviews: FOI release

As mentioned in a previous FoI about ministerial exit interviews, please provide all details of the “capability review” and “response to capability review” as referred.

Response

The answer to your question is that the Capability Review referenced is an organisational level review of employee capability (skills) within the core Scottish Government. The aim of the review is to support targeted upskilling and continuous improvement in line with our strategic approach to learning. The outputs of Ministerial Exit Interviews will form part of the evidence base gathered to inform the review.

The Capability Review is ongoing and will conclude in due course. The response to the review has therefore not yet been determined.
