Scottish Refugee Council involvement in Warm Scots Welcome and Warm Scots Future: FOI release

Information requested

1. The formal role of the Scottish Refugee Council in the development of the Warm Scots Welcome and Warm Scots Future policies.

2. Whether the Scottish Refugee Council was a member of any programme board, governance group, or steering group overseeing the Ukraine response.

3. Copies of any terms of reference or governance documents setting out the Scottish Refugee Council’s role.

4. Any funding or payments made to the Scottish Refugee Council for their involvement in the Ukraine resettlement and integration response.

Response

The Scottish Refugee Council works in partnership with the Scottish Government and COSLA supporting the development of New Scots Strategy. This collaborative framework ensures refugees are supported from the day they arrive and empowers them to rebuild their lives in Scottish communities. 

The Scottish Refugee Council have been or are members of a number of groups such as:
