How many Scottish Government civil servants have manager or team leader in their job title, compared to how many are employed at this time?
Response
There are workforce statistics published which includes a breakdown of FTE Directly employed. This is usually updated quarterly with the last update as of 31 Dec 2025. Due to the Scottish Parliament elections, the data will be updated once the new cabinet is appointed. Scottish Government workforce information - gov.scot
I have attached, in annex A, a snap shot of the job titles that contain Manager or Team Leader.
Again, this is a snap shot as of the 31st December 2026, in line with the workforce information stats.
