You asked for the nationality of individuals spending time in prison in each financial year 2016-17 through 2024-25.

I enclose a copy of the information you requested in a spreadsheet. Following the standards adopted by the Scottish Prison Service for potentially disclosive information about individuals held in prison, cells in the attached table containing fewer than 5 cases are labelled "< 5".
