Copy of the Deputy First Minister, Economy and Gaelic portfolio level 4 workbook: FOI release

Information requested

I’d like a copy of the DFMEG level 4 workbook with each calendar year going back to 2018-19. I’d like this information on the current portfolio structure.

While our aim is to provide the requested information wherever possible, in this instance, we are unable to provide all the information you have requested. Financial data for the Scottish Government, including the annual Scottish Budget, is not recorded on a calendar year basis but on a financial year basis running from 1 April to 31 March.

In addition to this, the current Deputy First Minister, Economy and Gaelic portfolio structure has only been in place for Scottish Budget 2025-26 and 2026-27 and has not been retrospectively applied to historical budget data. As such, this is a formal notice under section 17(1) (Information not held) of FOISA, the Scottish Government does not hold the information you have requested.
