Information requested
All communications discussing the SIC's statement (published here - https://www.foi.scot/preposterous-excuses-given-latest-scottish-government-non-compliance).
Response
I enclose a copy of the information you requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information because an exemption(s) under section 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies. The exemption is applied officials below Senior Civil Service (SCS) Bands A to C, the names of officials at SCS level (Deputy Director) and above are released.
SG’s general approach is to release the names of officials at Senior Civil Service (SCS) level (Deputy Director) and above, including SpAds and Ministers, and to only withhold the names of officials below SCS (Bands A – C).
