Information requested
The total number of staff allocated to each Cabinet Minister and Minister.
Please include how the composition of staff is arrived at- I.e what evidence informs staffing decisions for each Minister.
Response
I have included a breakdown of staffing in each of the Cabinet Minister and Minister Private Offices which can be found in Annex A.
Staffing decisions within private offices are determined by organisational needs, including workload levels. Resource requirements are reviewed periodically, and private office staff are expected to work flexibly across different offices when required to ensure the effective operation of ministerial private offices.
