Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
1. All correspondence (emails, letters, meeting notes) between the Scottish Government and Save Face from 1 January 2018 to the date of this request, where data, statistics or complaint figures relating to non‑surgical aesthetics were provided or discussed.
2. Any internal Scottish Government documents that (a) Assess the reliability, verification or methodology of data supplied by Save Face; and (b) Refer to Save Face data being used, cited or relied upon in relation to SP Bill 77.
3. Any spreadsheets, tables or summaries of Save Face data that are held by the Scottish Government.
Response
I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested in the format you asked for.
Annex A contains information pertaining the part 1 of your request: correspondence and meeting Minutes between the Scottish Government and Save Face where data, statistics or complaint figures relating to non‑surgical aesthetics were provided or discussed.
Annex B contains information pertaining to part 2 of your request: internal discussions within Scottish Government about Save Face, or where discussions made reference to Save Face. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government was unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under Section s.38(1)(b) (personal information) and Sections 30(b)(i) and 30(b)(ii) of FOISA applies to that information.
The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for under Part 3. This is because the Scottish Government is not responsible for this data and searches have shown no recordings of us holding this information. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
