I refer to my previous FOI REQUEST for Starley Hall School - Inspection reports from Starley Hall School, Burntisland, conducted by HM Inspectors: FOI release - gov.scot

Inspection reports provided Annex B, Follow-Up Inspection Report was not dated - please confirm when this inspection was undertaken.

EXTRACT from the Follow-up Inspection Report stating HM Inspectors would make a further visit to the school in 2002, I request a copy of the Inspection Report of September 2002.

In particular there is a need to more effectively develop joint working between care and teaching staff to ensure a co-ordinated and consistent approach to meeting pupils' needs. As a result HM Inspectors will make a further visit to the school in September 2002 to assess progress on this and on curriculum matters.'

Response

Starley Hall School was inspected in April 1999, and the report of this inspection was published on 21 September 1999.

HM Inspectors carried out a follow-up inspection in June 2001, to evaluate progress made in responding to the main points for action from the inspection report of September 1999. The report of the follow-up inspection was published on 18 September 2001.

HM Inspectors carried out a second follow-up inspection in September 2002, and the report was published on 17 December 2002. This report is attached at Annex A.
