Response

The answer to your question is:

Since 2022, Scottish Government has provided an £100,000 annual grant to the STUC support just transition capacity within the trade union movement.

The grant is managed in line with the Scottish Government grant management principles set out in the Scottish Public Finance Manual - gov.scot

The programme of work to delivered under the grant is agreed annually with STUC. This establishes how the grant funding will contribute to our objectives of building capacity and engaging with workers on the Just Transition. Delivery of the grant is monitored through a review process in which STUC regularly report on and provide evidence against these deliverables.
