Information requested
1. The total number of employees working for Transport Scotland
2. The % percentage share of genders
3. The % percentage of staff that have British citizenship
4. Racial groups as the UK govt. classifies:
White - British
White - Irish
Asian - Indian
Asian - Pakistani
Asian - Bangladeshi
Asian - Chinese
and the other non-national ethnic groups (like Africans, Arabs, other Asian, other White, Caribbean, Mixed race, etc.)
5. Religious identities, in particular the number of:

Data has been provided as at December 2024 as this is the latest date that has been published externally. Data is not published between publications; this is to reduce the risk of disclosure of sensitive information through differencing.
Where groups number fewer than 5, these groups have been combined to reduce the risk of disclosure of sensitive information. Categories follow the way data was recorded in Scotland’s Census 2022. In some cases, this may not match with categories used by other UK Government departments.
