Information requested

• Who is the supplier of accountancy services to the Scottish Pub Code Adjudicator?
• Were the services advertised and secured using the Scottish or UK Government competitive tender process?
• If so when was the competitive tender advertised and when was the contract awarded?
• What is the value of the contract and for what period?

Response

• The Scottish Pub Code Adjudicator’s requirement for accountancy services is currently met internally. The current post-holder is an interim appointment. The agency providing the interim is Venesky Brown Ltd.
• The interim appointment consists of a call-off contract made under the Scottish Government’s national Framework Agreement for Interim Professional Staff Services. In accordance with that Framework Agreement’s procurement procedures (as outlined in the Buyer’s Guide, which canbe found at https://www.gov.scot/publications/temporary-and-interim-staff-services-frameworks/), no contract notice (i.e. open advertisement) was placed and a direct award was made to the firstranked framework contractor, Venesky Brown Ltd.
• As described above, the procurement process was a direct award through a Framework Agreement and so advertisement of the requirement was not applicable. The contract was awarded on 14 October 2025.
• The contract period is 20 October 2025 to 20 April 2026. The contract has a stated maximum value of £5,135.20.
