Information requested

All documentation held by the government, including correspondence sent and received (including internal), minutes/notes from meetings, briefings and analysis, about Scottish spaceports, from the last month.

As you have requested for documentation from the last month, and your request was received on 20 January 2026, we have interpreted this to cover the period from 20 December 2025 to 20 January 2026.

Some information has been withheld because exemptions under sections 30 (b)(i), 30 (b)(ii), 30(c), 33(1)(b), 38 (1)(b) of FOISA apply. These exemptions relate respectively to substantial inhibition to the free and frank provision of advice, substantial inhibition of free and frank exchange of views, substantial prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs, substantial prejudice of commercial information, third person personal information. In addition, some information falls out of scope of your request.

Exemptions have also been made under sections 33(1)(b), 36(2), 33(2)(a), 29(1)(a), 30(c). These exemptions relate respectively to substantial prejudice to commercial interest, confidentiality, economic interest, formulation or development of government policy and effective conduct of public affairs. The public interest in withholding the information outweighs that of disclosure in this case.
