Criminal asset recovery in Scotland: FOI release

Information requested

• The value of criminal assets recovered in Scotland, including via the proceeds of crime recovery scheme, over the last ten years.
• A breakdown of how this money was spent or reallocated. Please include any details of provision to projects such as the CashBack for Creativity Open Fund, or the CashBack for Communities scheme.
• A breakdown of how the money allocated to initiatives including the CashBack for Creativity Open Fund, or the CashBack for Communities scheme, was spent. Please include the amount allocated to each project and a description of each project.

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested in relation to data and information in response to your requests.

With regards to the CashBack for Creativity fund, the Scottish Government does not hold a description of each project as the grants were administered through YouthLink Scotland. As such, I hereby provide you with formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
