In response to a written question the Scottish Government said: "On 30 September, the Director of Health Workforce wrote to Health Boards to reinforce the importance of complying with the law, and the Supreme Court judgment implemented."

Could you please provide a copy of this letter along with any replies from the health boards.

I enclose a copy of Gillian Russell, Director of Health Workforce, letter dated 30 September 2025, that was issued to NHS Scotland Health Boards.
In regards to your request for copies of any replies to said letter from Health Boards, I can confirm that no replies were received.
