Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
On Tuesday 2 December 2025, Dr Stephen Pathirana provided evidence to the Public finance committee at the Scottish parliament. During the session he was asked the question around what level of interaction he has with Scottish Government. He stated that he provides a monthly report to Ivan McKee MSP. He went onto state that this monthly report provides management information. Please provide copies of these reports within the FOI legislative timescales for the months of January 2025 up to and including November 2025.
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA) does not have some of the information you have requested. A relevant and proportionate search has determined that there were no monthly reports created for the months of August 2025 (due to the Minister attending SPPA) and October 2025. Consequently, exemption section 17(1) of FOISA is applicable in that this information is not held.
