Digital Strategy app launch query: FOI release

Thank you for your response, but my question is not fully answered.

What you have indicated is, that your digital strategy bulletin was incorrect, and the project was not on track to be out by 2026, which is the exact opposite to the article which was very clear, it said, that it will be launched by 2026, for that statement to be true. The app will need to be launched by midnight on Dec 31st . 

Can you confirm what date, the app will launch? And can you advise, when you are releasing another public statement, correcting the public update, that the information contained was factually inaccurate, and you are not on track, to deliver as promised, and the new revised date is ….

Response

The Directorate is currently progressing the development of the app scheduled for release in 2026.

A specific launch date has not yet been determined as it depends on the completion of development and testing to ensure the product meets all required standards.

Once these processes are finalised, we will provide a confirmed launch date and guidance on how to access and use the app.

Apologies for any confusion that has been caused by the use of language in documentation, the intention always has been that the app will be launched in 2026 as stated in the 3rd paragraph of 2.4 Personalised public services of the section Common Approaches in the Digital Strategy delivery plan 2025-2028.
