3) The current yields of the different investments the pension fund holds.

4) Can you clearly specify the total value of all investments that the Pension Fund holds.

Response

The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because this is held with Legal & General and Equitable Life.

The Scheme that members in the Scottish Government are auto enrolled into is Alpha. This is a defined benefit scheme which does not have a fund. Therefore, investments are not applicable in this case.

Members have the option to switch from Alpha to a defined contribution scheme. This is called Partnership and is administered by Legal and General. Legal and General also manage Additional Voluntary Contributions for our staff. Any information regarding pension fund investments, should be sent to Legal and General by emailing the address at csp@landg.com.

We also have a legacy arrangement with Equitable Life and any queries regarding their investments can be directed via email to gps@utmost.co.uk.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
