b. Standard age categories used by Social Security Scotland

Request for information 3:

The success rate of applications for Adult Disability Payment where endometriosis is the primary condition, including:

b. Appeals/re-determinations (successful/unsuccessful outcomes)

Request for information 3a:

The approval rate for applications where the primary condition is endometriosis is 35%. This figure is based on initial decisions made on new applications since the launch of Adult Disability Payment.

Request for information 3b:

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the costs of locating, retrieving and providing the information requested would exceed the upper cost limit of £600. This is because we do not record disability condition data alongside re-determination and appeal outcomes. To retrieve this data would require a manual investigation of 1,849 records. Under section 12 of FOISA public authorities are not required to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying would exceed the upper cost limit, which is currently set at £600 by Regulations made under section 12.

You may, however, wish to consider reducing the scope of your request in order that the costs can be brought below £600. For example, you could ask for data limited to a specific time period.
