1. Please provide a breakdown of how many high-rise buildings/multi occupational properties have been identified as having dangerous Grenfell-style cladding in each local authority area in Scotland?
1. How many buildings identified as having dangerous Grenfell-style cladding in Scotland have been completely replaced to date? Please give a breakdown of which local authority area these buildings are in.

Response

In answer to your questions above, I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested.

All the publications on data and information on the progress of the Cladding Remediation Programme are available in the Cladding remediation statistics collection. This can be found here: https://www.gov.scot/collections/cladding-remediation/

In response to question 1, the Cladding Remediation Programme total expenditure from financial year 2021/22 to 31 October

2025 was published on 18 November 2025 as part of the monthly management information release.

This information can be found here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/scotlands-cladding-remediation-programme-monthly- management-information-october-2025/pages/key-points/

The information you have requested since this publication date is currently under review, with the next release of this information scheduled for 16 December 2025. As such it is exempted under Regulation 10(4)(d) - Material in the course of completion.

In response to question 2, this response has interpreted ‘dangerous Grenfell-style cladding’ to mean Aluminium Composite Material cladding.

Data held by Scottish Government as part of the High-Rise Inventory 2021 shows that 48 buildings were reported to have Aluminium Composite Material panels. Nine of these buildings were in West Dunbartonshire, 16 were in City of Edinburgh and 23 were in Glasgow City local authority areas.

In response to question 3, as noted above, this response has interpreted ‘dangerous Grenfell-style cladding’ to mean Aluminium Composite Material cladding. The Scottish Government does not hold information showing any buildings in Scotland where dangerous Grenfell-style cladding has been completely replaced to date.

Up-to-date information on the progress of Single Building Assessments and remediation is provided in the Cladding Remediation Programme’s monthly and quarterly updates. The latest release, provided at the hyperlink above, published on 18 November set out:

  • the number of Single Building Assessments (SBAs) started and completed
  • whether remedial works are required
  • whether remediation has started
  • whether urgent interim measures and/or remediation work is underway
