Director General Corporate roles breakdown: FOI release

Information requested

The name of all directorates under DG General Corporate, all divisions that sit within those directorates, all teams that sit within those divisions and a summary of the roles of those teams. Such as how they are listed under the staff directory on the Scottish Government Saltire page.

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

In the attached spreadsheet we have provided the requested extract of Director General Corporate and its associated sub sections, including Directorate, Division and Branch. We have also included data on Professions, Job Families and Job Titles for those roles, which provides further detail on the roles within the teams. This data extract is as at June 2025, in line with our quarterly workforce publication (Scottish Government workforce statistics - gov.scot)

This data is extracted from Oracle, the master source of organisational data for the Core Scottish Government. The Staff Directory is now deemed a legacy system that is undergoing review with most, if not all, of its functions expected to be decommissioned over the next year.
