Changing Places Toilets Fund statistics: FOI release

I am requesting information regarding Scotland’s Changing Places Toilets Fund which opened to applications in August 2025. Please"" provide the following information:

1. The total number of applications the Scottish Government has received.

Please note if the Scottish Government technically doesn’t handle the applications then please state who does and how many they have received.

2. The total number of applications that have been approved and allocated money from the fund. If possible please provide how much money has been allocated per approved application.

3. The total number of applications that have been rejected."

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not hold the information you have requested. Inspiring Scotland is delivering the fund on behalf of the Scottish Government, with expert support from Promoting a More Inclusive Society (PAMIS,). PAMIS has played a central role in the development of this fund, reflecting their long-standing commitment to improving accessibility for people with additional support needs across Scotland.

The Fund is currently open for applications, with a deadline of 12 pm (midday) on Monday, October 20, 2025. Applications are submitted through the Inspiring Scotland website. https://inspiringscotland.org.uk/fund/changing-places-toilets-fund/
