You asked for Supplier Information and details on PPE for Marine Directorate.

Response

The Scottish Government are currently contracted with Lyreco UK Ltd for General Office Supplies, this includes elements of workwear for cleaning which is utilised by some parts of government. It is not though used by Marine Directorate given that there is a more specialised requirement for personal protective equipment (PPE) provision across the Directorate. Marine Directorate is currently out of contract for PPE and is looking to set up a framework arrangement for the future provision of this service.

The spend on PPE for the period up to 2023-24 is contained in the table below, unfortunately the analysis for the 2024-25 financial year is currently unavailable.

This is to be a new framework which brings together our PPE requirements within Marine, accordingly we do not hold service/product specification information.
