Teacher Remedy Statements: FOI release

Information requested

1) Please send me the number of teachers waiting for remedy statements as of July 31, 2025.

2) Please send me the number of teachers waiting for the resolution of revoked, early retirement buyout reduction, ERRBO, payments.

Response

1) As of July 31, 2025, there were 2,861 active teachers waiting for their ABS-RSS Annual Benefits statements.

2) There are currently 1,103 members of the teachers scheme awaiting issue of a letter which will present members with a number of options. One of which will be to revoke their ERRBO contract and receive a compensation payment.
