Update on the process, planning and procurement for the Kilcreggan - Gourock and Gourock - Dunoon ferries.

In terms of timescales, preferred vessel and infrastructure options for ferry services to Dunoon and Kilcreggan are being considered as part of the outline business case. I appreciate that there is much interest in the programme and the community would like an update on vessel delivery dates. There will be local community and stakeholder events held as the programme progresses which will be suitably advertised to ensure the needs of the community and options being considered are fully consulted on. It should be said that any investment in new vessels and infrastructure must offer value for money, be proportionate and affordable.
