This response relates specifically to permanent employees within the Scottish Government Director-General business areas, as detailed in Annex A. For information concerning staff in other agencies or public bodies, we recommend that you contact those organisations directly.

In response to your specific request, the table below summarises the number of employees dismissed under formal procedures during the period from 1 September 2024 to 27 June 2025 (the date of your request). During this period, a total of 12 employees were dismissed from the Scottish Government.
