Information requested
You asked for all information that the Scottish Government hold relating to the funding that the Scottish Government has provided to South Ayrshire Council in relation to the Area Based Scheme External Wall Insulation project. This should include all financial investment, criteria for funding, criteria relating to fuel poverty, tender for works information and details of complaints and disputes.

Since the beginning of the Area Based Schemes Programme, a total of £18,948,068.20 has been spent in South Ayrshire, installing 2250 measures to households to help tackle fuel poverty (breakdown below).

This year a £1,547,885.01 was offered to South Ayrshire council, which has since been increased to £1,897,885.01.

The Scottish Government does not routinely collect information about complaints and disputes about Area Based Schemes. The only information i have found that we hold relating to complaints and disputes is from your own previous correspondence with the Scottish Government. Therefore we are refusing your request under the exception at regulation 10(4)(a) of the EIRs.
