Could you supply the date when Neil Gray confirmed he would go to Japan for ministerial trip on June 23, and the documents to back this up?

The Minister was supported by a policy official and a member of his private office on the visit. The details of the two civil servants will not be released under FOI Exemption s.38(1)(b).

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemptions under sections s.27(1), s.30(b)(ii), s.33(1)(b) and s.38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to that information.

An exemption(s) under section S27.1 of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. The information you have requested will be released to the public via the Scottish Government website through the release of the Ministerial Engagements Database, which is released every three months.
