Scottish Public Pensions Agency 2024 Police Pay award: FOI release

Information requested

1. Are any of your staff working on the 2024 pay award backlog? Have any of them being doing so i.e. is or have any of them been working through, recalculating and arranging for payment of monies owed to officers in a similar situation to me?

2. Have members of other schemes administered by the SPPA also been affected in a similar way or is it just retired Police officers?

Response

1. No colleagues are currently working on the 2024 backdated pay award. All focus is on delivering all work required to conclude McCloud Remedy, following which focus will switch to backdated pay awards.

2. There are no current backdated pay awards applicable to other schemes.
