Information requested

How much was spent by the Scottish Government on printing documents in the calendar years 2023 and 2024?

Include the costs of purchasing paper and ink, if held, in addition to commercial printing purchases.

Response

In relation to your request, Scottish Government is served by a number of procurement options to facilitate the delivery of print services:

a. A multi supplier national framework agreement for the provision of office equipment and managed print services;
b. A single supplier national framework agreement for the supply of publishing, print, design and associated services;
c. A single supplier national framework agreement for the provision of general office supplies;
d. An electronic purchasing card (ePC) for low cost payments for goods and services.

A breakdown of costs for calendar years 2023 and 2024 is attached.
