In the 25/26 Budget an additional £5 million, not £5.7 million has been allocated for Gaelic. The total increase of £5.7 million within the 25/26 Budget is for Gaelic and Scots together. I have attached below a table showing the breakdown for the allocation to Gaelic and Scots at the 24/25 budget, 25/26 budget and the increase in funding totalling £5.7 million.
