Fitness for Judicial Office Tribunal proceedings costs: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

John Halley, a part-time sheriff, was subject to Fitness for Judicial Office Tribunal proceedings which have now been completed.

Under the Court Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, Scottish Ministers are obliged to pay such expenses as they consider are reasonably required to be incurred to enable a tribunal to carry out its functions. The Scottish Government has in the past published costs of the tribunal at the conclusion of the proceedings.

Can you please give us the costs incurred in relation to the Halley Tribunal?
