The following information as for winter 2024-25, winter 2023-24, 2022-23, 2021-22, 2020-21 - broken down by each winter (do not provide them in aggregate - provide each point broken down by winter):
Request for information 1: Number of clients who received Child Winter Heating Payments (CWHP) for 2 children.
Request for information 2: Number of clients who received Child Winter Heating Payments for 3 children.
Request for information 3: Number of clients who received Child Winter Heating Payments for 4 children.
Request for information 4: Number of clients who received Child Winter Heating Payments for 5 children.
Request for information 5: Number of clients who received Child Winter Heating Payments for 6 children.

Request for information 7: Largest number of payments claimed by one client.

Information relating to your requests is attached. This is management information, which has not been quality assured to the same standard as our Official Statistics - Social Security Scotland - Statistics.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Social Security Scotland does not have a small amount of the information you have requested. This is because Winter Heating Payment did not launch until the winter of 2022/2023.
This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that Social Security Scotland does not have a small amount of the information you have requested.
Request for information 7:
In each winter period from 2020/21 to 2024/25, the largest number of Child Winter Heating Payments received by a single client was five.
