1. The cost of producing this paper was £717.90. This expenditure was to cover the web conversion and publication fees charged by the APS Group.

2. The paper was collectively worked on by the 12 members of the Scottish Animal Welfare Commission. Supportive administrative work was also provided by the SAWC Secretariat (1).
