Scottish Commission on Social Security payments in excess of £25,000: FOI release

Information requested

You asked for a copy of payments made by the Scottish Commission on Social Security with a value in excess of £25,000 for the period of April 2021 to March 2025, in accordance with the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 duty on public bodies to publish details of such payments.

As part of your request, you asked for the:

• Date of each payment
• Amount
• Recipient name
• A procurement category or brief description of the goods or services (if readily available).

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in response to your request for copies of payments made by the Scottish Commission on Social Security in excess of £25,000, in this instance we do not hold the information you have requested. The reason we don't have the information is because no such payments have been made by the Commission during the timeframe you have specified (April 2021 to March 2025).

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that neither the Scottish Government nor the Scottish Commission on Social Security has the information you have requested in respect of any payment made by the Commission in excess of £25,000.

While Annual Accounts, published each year as part of the Scottish Commission on Social Security's Annual Report, show total payments of over £25,000 across the years requested, no individual payment in excess of £25,000 was made.
