I enclose a copy of details of payments made by the Scottish Government to Thompsons Solicitors since 2017 in the format you have asked for where possible.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.
The Scottish Government does not hold the information you have asked for because we would not have involvement in litigation relating to clinical negligence involving NHS Boards. Matters such as this would ordinarily be handled by individual NHS Boards, potentially with support from NHS National Services Scotland’s Central Legal Office.
This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.
