Request for Information 3: The number of people eligible for Late Pension-Age Winter Heating Payments in Scotland in 2024/25.

Request for Information 4: By what month Social Security Scotland considers Late Pension-Age Winter Heating Payments to have been made late.

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Social Security Scotland does not have the information you have requested. This is because the Pension Age Winter Heating Payment for winter 2024/25 was paid by the Department for Work and Pensions.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that Social Security Scotland does not have the information you have requested.

For winter 2025/26, the Pension Age Winter Heating Payment will be paid by Social Security Scotland.
