Members of Programmes Senior Leadership team: FOI release

Information requested

With regards to your social security programme:

1. Please provide the names and grades (substantive and temporary) of all members of your programmes senior leadership team (senior civil service) as of 1/4/25
2. Please provide the number of your senior leadership team who have a contractual workplace registered as other than your Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.
3. Please provide between 1/4/24 and 31/3/25 the weekly average number of days each member of your senior leadership has worked from your Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.
4. For senior leadership team members who have a contractual place of work other than your Glasgow and Edinburgh offices, please provide for financial years 24/25 and 23/24 the aggregated value of all excess fare and/or travel and subsistence claims made by senior leadership team members for travel between their contractual registered place of work, or their home, and your Glasgow and Edinburgh offices, broken down by rail, air, hotel, car hire, taxi, private vehicle mileage claims, other for the last 3 financial years.
5. Given you publish the names of your senior leadership team already please provide a breakdown of the aggregated amount from question 4 by each senior leadership team member for each financial year. If it’s not possible to name individuals in this context please provide the detail in an anonymised way, for example, start member 1 etc, staff member 2 etc.

2. None of the senior leadership team in the Social Security Programme have a contractual workplace registered as other than one of Scottish Government’s Glasgow or Edinburgh offices.

3. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in response to your request for the average number of days each member of senior leadership has worked from Scottish Governments Glasgow or Edinburgh offices, in this instance we do not hold the information you have requested. The reason we don’t have the information is because this information is not tracked. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not hold the information you have requested.
