Information requested

Dates of any other licence transfers authorised since 29 January 2025, including the names of vessels and businesses involved.

Please find attached a document (titled Annex A) table providing some of the information you have requested.

Key (to attached table)

AU category licences are issued for vessels 10 metres and under in length.

AO category licences are issued for vessels over 10 metres in length.

All transfers of an entitlement have been marked as "n/a" as there is no associated vessel when an entitlement is transferred.

An exception under regulation 11(2) of the EIRs (personal information) applies to some of the information requested (the names of holders of the transferred licence/entitlement) because it is personal data of a third party and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exception is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exception.
