Remediable Service Statement (RSS) letters issued to Immediate Choice members: FOI release

Information requested

1. How many RSS letters have been issued to immediate detriment pensioners that are due a payment (not the ones who retired in 2015 and are fully protected).

2. As of 31/03/2023 how Many pensioners have received a payment their payment from returned RSS’s.

3. What is the deadline for paying members their money, keeping in mind it should be 28 days plus 1 day after they return their form.

Response

1. As of 10th April, 2,955 RSS have been issued to Immediate Choice members.

2. Approximately 100 pensioners have received their payment from returned RSS.
