I enclose a copy of all of the information you requested. We have interpreted your question to mean the pay scales in operation in Scottish Government core directorates, agencies and non- ministerial offices that make up the Scottish Government Main bargaining unit. A list of organisations this covers is provided in annex A. The information has been provided based on our effective pay award dates, which for the years requested was 1st August each year. This information applies to our A-C band staff.
The terms and conditions of employment, including pay, for Senior Civil Service (SCS) staff is reserved to the UK Government and managed by the Cabinet Office. We have however enclosed the pay scales that applied to SCS staff for the years requested. This is provided based on the effective pay award dates, which for the years requested was 1st April.
