1. Survey Briefing and Guidelines:

a. Copies of any documents or communications that were given to the people who wrote the survey questions. This should include details on the purpose of the survey, the goals of the survey, and any instructions on how to write the questions.

b. Any specific objectives or outcomes that the Scottish Government wanted to achieve with the survey.

2. Survey Design:

a. A breakdown of how the survey questions were chosen and written, including why each question was worded in a certain way.

b. Any documents that explain why certain questions were included, and how they were presented to the public.

c. Information about whether experts were involved in designing the survey questions.

3. Potential Bias in the Survey:

a. Was any consideration given to avoiding bias in the survey questions? For example, were any psychological factors (such as how people might interpret questions) considered to make sure the questions were neutral?

b. Were any reviews done to check if the survey might unintentionally lead people to answer in a certain way?

4. Public Feedback:

a. Any reports or information showing how feedback from previous consultations was used to shape the survey questions.

b. Information about whether the survey was tested with a small group before being released to the public.

5. Evaluation of Results:

a. How the survey results were or will be reviewed and used or to be used to make decisions about the change in speed limits from 60mph to 50mph.

b. Was there any evaluation of whether the survey effectively gathered honest, representative feedback from the public?
