Response

The Mobility and Access Committee for Scotland is an Advisory NDPB. MACS Members are not employees and are appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Transport. A Secretariat function is provided to the Committee by Transport Scotland.

For completeness, I can confirm that MACS Members do not receive a salary, and each Members remuneration is less that £50,000.

You can find more information about MACS on the Transport Scotland website: Mobility and Access Committee for Scotland (MACS) | Transport Scotland
