Information requested

The details of changes to the published FOI 202500450646. Details of all elements included in the data published on Tuesday 4th March 2025 that were the removed when the data was republished on the 11th March 2025.

All correspondence related to the original publication of FOI 202500450646 including the original coordination of the data and the correspondence related to the change. Correspondence to include all digital and hard copy communications such as letters, emails, WhatsApp and other communications.

Scottish Government policy and guidance with regards to changing published FOI responses.

The newly published data and the previously published data are considerably different. I attach a copy of the previously published information for your information.

Response

We have treated your request in 3 parts.

• Part one – Details of the data that was removed when the data was republished on the 11th March 2025
• Part two - Correspondence relating to the publication of both data sets
• Part three - The Scottish Government’s policy and guidance on changing published FOI responses.

Part one:

Attached is the original data set that was provided in the original response to FOI 202500450646 (Attachment 1 Original Data). The suppliers highlighted in Attachment 1 were included in error.

Part two:

For part two of the FOI regarding all correspondence relating to both the publication and revised FOI. If we were to provide this data, it would exceed the cost limit set out in Section 12 of FOISA. Significant cross-government resource would be required to collate, analyse, and redact the correspondences.

Part three:

The link below provides the Policy and Guidance on changing published FOI responses. Section 6 in the link attachment is the area that concerns your request.
