Correspondence regarding the Human Rights Bill not being in the Programme for Government 2024/25: FOI release

Information requested

All correspondence received by the Scottish Government which complained about the Human Rights Bill not being in the programme for government, between September 15, 2024, and October 31 2024.

Response

For the purposes of the freedom of information request we have included all correspondence received from stakeholders, where they have expressed a complaint or strong dissatisfaction at the Human Rights Bill not being in the Programme for Government 2024/25.

I enclose a copy of all of the information you requested via email. A total of six documents were identified by officials. Where information has been redacted we have done so in relation to section 38 of the Freedom of Information Act (2002) to protect personal information contained in the documents, such as names and contact details.
