While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have all of the information you have requested.

We cannot provide:

A break down of costs on a monthly basis - this is because we procure services from LinkedIn on an annual basis paying in advance for 12 months provision of services, as this represents a more costeffective approach, based on volumes.

We also cannot provide the cost attributed to individual years as contracting periods run from one financial year to the next.

In response to your request, we have provided the annual total cost for LinkedIn services for the contract year 2024 - 2025 (incorporating a 12 month period from September 2024 - August 2025) incurred by People Directorate of the Scottish Government, the primary directorate responsible for recruitment advertising.
