Information requested

In respect of FOI request FOI/202400419507 (WAVE Trust meeting with former First Minister: FOI release - gov.scot) the FOI response mentions that. 'On page 8 on the attached documents, Mr Hosking states that ' I would be willing to pay to a charity of your choice the value of an hour of your time, which I know will be a not insubstantial sum' - please can you confirm wherever you accepted this offer in exchange for the meeting and, if so, how much was donated and to which charity?'

In respect of this, please can you provide a copy of the documents that are referred to by this request and place them into the public domain?

Response

I enclose a copy of the document you have requested. This was previously released as part of our response to FOI 202400403349 - you can now find this full response on the Scottish Government website. All documents released as part of that FOI are included in two pdfs online, with bookmarks distinguishing each separate document. The document that you requested is referred to as document 5a.

As per that FOI response, the attached document includes most of the information you requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under section Section 38(1)(c) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information. As noted throughout the documents, I have redacted the names and contact details of specific Scottish Government officials and email addresses for Ministerial Private Offices, as well as email addresses and personal phone numbers for WAVE Trust representatives which are not publicly available.
