Correspondence regarding reducing homelessness: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

You asked for all correspondence sent/received by the Scottish Government and minutes/notes from meetings, about building more homes or repurposing properties, to reduce homelessness in Scotland between December 15 2024 and January 15 2025.

Response

I enclose a copy of all of the information you requested.

An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. Personal information (names and email addresses) relating to third parties and Scottish Government officials have been redacted.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.

Some of the information in document 5 has been redacted as out of scope.
