7 - a summary of any engagements, meetings, or advice Scottish Ministers, or officials acting on their behalf, have had from Social Workers, Social Work professional or representative bodies, or non NHS partners who sit on integrated joint boards related to Trans Health and Social care since the publication of the Cass Report on 10th April 2024

8 - a summary of any guidance, advice, direction, or instructions Scottish Ministers, or officials acting on their behalf, have given to Local Authorities or third sector partners with relation to health and social care provision for transgender individuals.

Response

Regarding your seventh request, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested, as in our searches we did not identify any engagements, meetings, or advice Scottish Ministers, or officials acting on their behalf, have had from social workers; social work professional or representative bodies; or non-NHS partners sitting on Integrated Joint Boards related to trans health and social care since the publication of the Cass Review on 10 April 2024.

Regarding your eighth request, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the costs of locating, retrieving and providing the information requested would exceed the upper cost limit of £600. This is because of the large number of documents that could potentially be within scope of your request. Under section 12 of FOISA public authorities are not required to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying would exceed the upper cost limit, which is currently set at £600 by Regulations made under section 12.

You may, however, wish to consider reducing the scope of your request in order that the costs can be brought below £600. You may, for instance, wish to specify a particular time period you are interested in.
